No CD Error, Help!

I put a Football manager game into the CD, installed it but everytime i try to play the game it says 'No CD in tray' Please insert CD! I have tried everything but still no joy! I even went back to the shop and changed the game thinking it was a faulty CD but it still happens!

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening? Please help if you can. Thanks

Other CD's do work. Strange problem as i have tried 2 of the same CD's and both come up with the same error!!
