someone tell me if iim right or not.....

you cant take your no claims discount for one policy and then use it on a another policy for a 2nd car that you may own????????

Have to start from 0 no claims on the 2nd car?

Insurance companies do sometimes give you an introductionary discount if you insure a second car and you've been with them for a while :)

Omega's have always seemed pretty cheap to insure to me? Not sure about preludes.

Why not phone the insurance company and tell them that you have 2 cars and you would like to insure both with them and you want to take out the policies right now. They might be able to cut you a deal.

omega elite insurance group 16, prelude vtec group 17.

my situation is that my omega has big problems right now currently being fixed, and have had the prelude insured under same policy as a temporary cover. Problem with that is they only cover you for a total of 120 days which runs out tomorrow.

you could get a combined policy covering both vehicles.
insurers are realising more and more people are buying 2 cars.

I seem to remember Direct Line offered me a 'copy' of my no claims and a discount if I insured my second car with them.. not sure if that's a general policy or not.

More>Than offered the same deal to me.

Just got an XK8 as a "second car" and More Than duplicated the no claims from the first car onto the second car and added a discount for insuring the second car as well.
