no display on x1900xtx

built new pc and seemed ok,tired running 3d mark 2005 and soon as it started the test got all colourson screen.left it for a while thenwhen I came back,i got no display.

reset cmos and I get 1 beep plus 3 short ones.Power is going to card and fan is spinning.
any ideas?

Is it overclocked, what are the core temps like, sounds like the hang you get just before vpu recover kicks in.

Edit, whats the rest of your specs?

hi mate thanks for replying, i tried another card and it was fine,so must be the card shot it.

it is an asus ,it was brand new yesterday,i didnt clock it.

I cant get into the bios never mind windows

Anyway ive packed up the card for RMA, A friends card worked fine so Im 100% certain the cards knackered
