No display when booting up

Sometimes when i boot up the computer displays nothing, so I have to press the bottom on my computer to restart and then all of a sudden the display will come on

any ideas what could be causing this?

I have a MSI Z370-A Pro.

I did change graphics card recently maybe this has caused it?

Which GPU? If it’s display port I find the same thing it’s a little temperamental now and then.

Its a msi gtx 1070ti

Yes display port could it be faulty or cable fualty?

I personally have a similar issue but find that DP can occasionally be tempremental but if it’s all the time potentially... I have it now and then, not sure why but you’re not alone
