No graphics output

my card (gtx 260) has stopped giving graphics output after moving the jumper onto the 1 pin then back to 2 and 3.. the jumper can be seen on this pic, is blue at far left the higher one, http://www.overclock3d.net/gfx/articles/2008/01/07120538419l.jpg anway no my card has no output which seems odd, is new card i had a 9600gt before it, that had also stopped having output recently but was just because of my ram sticks werent being detected and i just cleaned the gold pins and then it worked fine again, checked my ram already and thats not the issue i tried with other ram and still no output, i tried the card in another comp to test it and works fine, i tried another card in this comp and still got the problem.. tried clearing the cmos but still same prob the board (asus striker II formula) seems fine no warnings on the lcd poster and everything else running fine on my board. any ideas? much appreciated

maybe faulty pci-e slot. try it in another pci-e slot.

or move the jumper back.

jumper is in original position, will try the graphics card in other slot to test but doubt thats it and if is would need to send motherboard back because you have to use slot 1 prodominantly then 2 and 3 subsequently..

if the 2 slots both running at 16x u can put it in any.

i have my graphic card in slot 2.

oh well my old xfx 780i never used let me, anyway still didn't work, i currently have the battery out and waiting 2 hour for cmos clear, btw the jumper is on chassis intrusion detection
