No luck flashing Intel

Hi Guys,

Finally got my first SSD Intel X-25m

but the problem is I can't flash the firmware....don't even know what firmware I am running.

I installed the firmware update tool on a CD, booted from the CD but...it can not find the SSD

.

Anybody?

I don't think the firmware has been updated for a while. You'll probably be using the latest version. I got mine several months ago and the firmware it came with was great. You'll most likely have the same version so I wouldn't worry.

I thought the tool would tell me that it is already on the latest firmware?

i've had my intel ssd since feb and had to upgrade the firmware to support trim. the toolbox does tell you which firmware you are using, click on view drive information and scroll down to word 23-26 firmware version, mine is 2CV102HD.
