One thing I haven’t endured in the past few years are moths that fly inside my home and flutter around lights. I’m glad of this as hate moths.

Is it just me noticed this?

I blame you for this. Also had one in this morning, had windows open all night.

I hate moths. They’re made of angel dust. You flatten one and it’s just a smear, go get a cloth to mop it up and when you come back, the dust left behind has vanished and there’s a moth flying around again.

*shudder*

I think so.

Had a few in the last couple of nights due to the windows being wide open.

Don't think we get as many now that all the lighting is LED, bugs don't find them as attractive but you still get the persistent ones.

I have noticed a lack of butterflies and bees.

A part of this is largely caused by people turning their gardens into sterile spaces i.e. outdoor living rooms and/artificial grass rather than natural style gardens.

We need more wild areas in gardens to allow wildlife to live.

One thing I've noticed with the massive influx of inner city waiting lists being pushed out to other area's of the country, is the hatred of green and flowers and a rush to pull up and path, concrete or deck these areas.

The lack of insects in Kent (The UK's new housing estate) is alarming.

I've had the windows and back doors open for the last week, my room is dark and my TV is bright. Not a single bug.

This is very unsettling as they have been hard to get rid of in the past.
