No PS3 Rumble??

I think i use the music playing on the 360 more than almost any other feature, i had no idea the PS3 couldn't do that

Stuff like Amped 3, THP8, TDU, Saints Row, Pro Evo 6, i pretty much just use my own music.

Turn it on then off again and the fans should stay on until the controller is charged, I think.

Oops too late. ;)

no good if the xbox is in your bedroom and you are trying to sleep though!

I find the xbox controller lasts ages on one charge although I don't play for more than an hour at a time. My second controller running on batteries lasted ages though, must have been about 6/7 months before I had to change them!

Yeah, that goes without saying, I think that's the one thing everyone wants to see. I can only think it's proving problematic as after 10 months you'd have expected to see it. I wonder if it's something to do with the amount of memory required to run it in the BG anyway without bringing it into the FG as well.
I'm pretty sure it's in development for the next big firmware update. They added access to the XMB from within BD's/DVD's in with the last update.

I always keep the A to B USB wire on the PS3 controllers as a result, and even then, I have to call up Sony services in a year to replace the controllers when the lith-ion batteries finally go dead. All of my PS3 gripes are centered towards the cheap, tacky and poorly made unergonomic controllers. I'm not too impressed really but there you go.
Something wrong with your PS3 controller IMO as others have already stated it lasts loads longer than the 360 one. Are you leaving it turned on while not gaming?

So how many times have you called Sony to replace you controller after the battery died then - or are you just assuming that it will die at some point but have no substantial evidence to actually back that claim up?

Your controller is faulty if it only lasting for 4 hours  Can easily get 20+ hours out of mine, I do tend to let them discharge fully before charging them up again rather than keep topping them up every now and then.

I heard it was in development for the last 3, especially the last one. There was the big hoo-haa where everyone got really excited only for it to be nothing, though the ability to see friends and messages whilst watching a video was definitely an improvement.

I have no doubts it will happen though, the demand for it is too high.

I mean the next 'major' update. The last couple were incremental updates as I recall but the next big one where they round off the number (can't remember what number we are one) will have it in iirc.

You can't hear it. :)

Anyway, even if it was loud I wouldn't notice, my PC is far louder than my 360 and that's on all the time!, well except the disc drive that's far quieter than the 360 one. ;)
