No servers in cs/cs:s/tf2 server browser - any help?

Hi all,

I can't get any servers to appear in my server browser for any of the above valve games, nor can I find a solution based on what I've found online. I've uninstalled and reinstalled (and at a different location on my gf's laptop) and reinstalled steam but alas no luck.

Does anyone know what to do?

Favourites and adding servers by ip works fine btw.

Are you using the Virgin Superhub?

I have the same issue. I have had issues with thuis in the past as well. Not just valve, but battlefield games etc. Its like a flood control stops them being displayed, never found a solutuion!

No, BT broadband.. It's really odd because it never used to be like this.

Hey mate

Create your own server. Just anything, basic options you dont need to change anything. Fire it up and run around for a few seconds. Nobody else needs to join or anything.

Then exit the game and try refreshing the server browser again.

This is my only problem with MP Valve stuff the server browser, launch the game and have to wait 20 minutes for the server list to populate with more than 3 available servers.
