No Signal - New Build

Well fans and everything come on now on my new system, but nothing is coming up on the monitor, just, No Signal, checked the cable several times, tried plugging it into both the GFX card and MB directly... :confused:

connect the square four plug in next to the CPU

Couple of things to try off the top my head, connected power the graphics card,
clear the cmos.

If that fails try removing all non esssential equipment and try 1 stick of ram only.

Do you have a case speaker at all, if so plug it in as mobo beep codes would help you plenty

I'll try different bits of equipment again but clearing the CMOS seems to have done nothing

Hmm, just noticed that, speaker and LED majigs are plugged in and theres nothing at all (sound or light).

Tried reseating the CPU but now the fans come on for 5 seconds before going off again (they stayed on before)

Ah crap! Lol, just cut my thumb terribly unplugging and plugging the 4 pin in next to the CPU, BUT the monitor has come to life!
