No signal , signal diagnostic check cable Error?

My dads computer isn't working and he gets this error as soon as he powers on the computer.

He has a old computer but it suits his needs.

Amd 2 64bit
Abit KN9
1 gig ram
Asus graphics card
and a Belena lcd .

i hooked the graphics card and his monitor up to my system and it al powered up fine. So i placed it al back in his system and still got the same error.

So next i tired his hard drive in my system and it worked fine, I've swapped ram around and reset the CMOS still getting as soon i boot his system up" No signal , signal diagnostic check cable Error"

I don't know what else to do or check, The motherboard has the lights on and the psu is working as well.

Ideas please i'm pulling my hair out atm .

Have you tried a different cable?

No i haven't but would that matter as it worked on my system?

Yeah no worries i've just tired that just in case still the same error i'm beginning to think it's the mobo that's wrong here .

Another thing i'm not getting any beeps when i boot the computer up either which is weird?
