I have just built a system which consists of

I5 7600k
16gb ddr4 3200mhz
Asus z270 m plus m/b
Gigabyte 1050ti windforce oc
750w super flower leadex ii
480 ssd ultra 2 sandisk

All boots up fine, go into BIOS no probs and setup windows 10 but when it resets after the Install you see the windows logo for a second then the screen goes blank and no signal appears on screen.
I have tried with a dvi- HDMI and a HDMI lead and still the same.
Tried installing 4 times now and still same probs, any ideas guys?

Newbie question, have you connected the extra power connector on the 1050ti?
Does the system carry on with any sort of activity, or does it just freeze (hdd activity light would be a good indicator)?
Are you using the graphics card's connectors, or the motherboard connectors for video?

What is set as the primary display device in the BIOS?
Andi.

This sounds like the issue to me.

Just to confirm (even more rookie but I don't know your experience level so apologies if it seems incredibly basic - I've seen it recently) that the cable to the monitor is connected to the graphics card rather than the motherboard?

Hi guys,

thanks the replies.

Card takes a 6 pin supply to it and the dvi lead is in the gpu and not the m/b.

Bios is set to peg

I can see bios and install windows 10 pro, then windows loads fine but after a minute or so the screen goes blank and no signal appears on screen, reset machine and you see the windows logo for a few seconds and then blank screen, activity still on hd.

Not sure if windows is loading in a driver which is causing this?

Try a different cable from the monitor to the GPU, I've had that happen before and happily it was the cable.

Jazzy, when the windows logo appears after the first reset, and then screen goes blank, have you waited 5-10 mins to see what happens? Or have you always hard shutdown or something?
