No SMART on WD SE16

Running this drive on the SATA 2 port on an AsRock dual board, and neither Speedfan or Drive Health can detect the drive so I can read the SMART data about it.

Anyone any ideas? I don't see anywhere in the bios where it could be disabled, and i'm sure it was working before....

ive got the option in my msi neo2 bios, have another shifty in there

The SATAII port on that motherboard seems a little buggy anyway, stuff not being detected properly. My advice, use the sata 1 port.

Yeah, just found the setting(I think I must be blind, it was obvious), but it was set to Enabled :confused:

put it to auto and still no luck.

Guess i'll try Sata 1 then, or else reinstall the sata 2 drivers..
