Hi just built this yesterday and wondering if the memory setting is OK

I used XMP option, was this the best setting to use?

As per https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18767399 the ram is running at 2400mhz so if that's your concern, you're good to go

Build was straight forward thanks, no probs, so far

I ended up using the stock cooler btw.

Just the on board graphic, its just my daughters home PC just using it for some light internet use and home work for the kids.
It was long over due an upgrade so I got the MB, processor, memory and PSU and windows 10.

So far all working good, touch wood

you guys know, unlike me, what the correct setting to use/change in the BIOS regarding memory. What it should be running at etc.

Is there a rule of thumb?
