Pointless comparing console hardware to PC hardware. I'm sure if Crytek made a game specific for someones PC it would run like the dogs nadgers, even if you had 4 year old hardware. Still most likely getting it on the PC though rather than 360/PS3, keyboard/mouse > pad

even if I do have to spend 3 hours fiddling with ini files, graphics options and drivers to get the best FPS.

We probably wouldn't be able to hit 60fps, just be the same problem with the first Crysis.

The ps3's gpu is based on Geforce 7800 architecture, whereas the 360 uses a custom ATI gpu similar to a x1900 (but more efficient). Neither can hold a candle to something like a 9800gtx though so I dont know where you read that.

No one would ever argue that if only graphics are taken into consideration. It would be foolish to try.

the stupid thing is, my eyesight is fine, etc. and theres nothing remotely laggy about crysis at 28 - 32 FPS on my system, it sounds low but for some reason its fine, not sure why its so playable at such a low framerate. the only problems i ever noticed with crysis was how rubbish the standard config. was, for some peculiar reason you could get superior visuals and framerate by messing around with stuff. the biggest killer for crysis was probably memory, my mate was wondering why it ran so weirdly on his system (smooth then juddery, then smooth again) came to the conclusion it was memory, chucked some more RAM in and it was fine.

Crysis just has excellent motion blurring. I'm an fps freak, but even I'll admit Crysis is bloody smooth at 30fps compared to other games.

my cousin rackin his ps3 is better then my pc only because it has blu-ray, I can't be bother to argue with him. I spend more time play pc games then watching movies.
