no swap file

i need some help. i bought samsung 500 gb sata hard drive and noticed when i wanted to defragment it it didn't have swap file. its working perfectly fine but how do imake sure it has this on?

By default the page file is only on the Windows partition. It sounds like this is not the hard drive with Windows on. To spread your page file out over your drives, go to Start Menu, right click on My Computer and select Properties. In Vista, click on Advanced System Settings to the left (in XP, you will go straight to this, but you will need to choose the Advanced tab). Then click on Settings underneath Performance, then the Advanced tab, then on Change. From there you can alter the size of the page file on every drive.
 
As said above, Windows defaults a single Swap File (aka: Page File) to the C drive, if you want to add more or change its location or modify it then by all means do, I would recommend moving it to the second HDD and turning it off on the C drive for a performance boost.
