No video output - Compatability issues?

Hi Guys,

New here and kind of new to building. Last time I build a machine was 10+ years ago.

Last night I put together my new bits and pressed the power button - yay it works.
But, i have no video output. I tried direct from the MB and then from the GPU but am getting no video signal. The MB lights up, CPU and GPU fans kick in, but no output. Can you see any compatibility issues in the list below? Really appreciate any advice as I'm stuck with a costly paper weight at the mo!

Asus Prime B350-Plus AMD B350 (Socket AM4)
AMD Ryzen 5 Six Core 1600 3.60GHz
Kingston Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C15 2666MHz
Dual Channel Kit (HX426C15FBK2/8)
KFA2 GeForce GTX 1050 OC 2048MB GDDR5

Thanks in advance!

If you take the ram out does it POST? There are known issues with Ryzen and certain ram so could be that.

Hi all, thanks for the advice so far. Frustratingly I am at work so can't try these yet.
I've just been on the Asus website and checked memory compatibility. It lists HX426C15FBK2/16 as compatible, but I have purchased HX426C15FBK2/8. I wonder if the /* makes a difference.

Cheers
