Noblechairs Hero strange noises

Hi all,

Just taken delivery of the Hero black edition, love the chair but it seems to be making some strange noises sometimes, either when I stand up or sit down and sometimes when I make adjustments to the rocking mechanism. It's almost like a tuning fork sound, a metallic resonance that sounds like something out of a scifi movie. It's really odd.

Anyone had anything similar? Should I be concerned?

I like the tilt though never really take it off. Ive never heard a chair do this, its quite a cool addition though sounds a quite snazzy. As long as its not doing any damage.

It’s not a creak, it’s like a resonance, almost like a tuning fork and it lasts around 2 to 3 seconds.

Does that make the rocking harder to move?

Do you have any concerns about it making this noise? It’s not actually annoying in any way really but if it’s going to cause an issue eventually it would be.

It’s like the cylons have turned up each time I get out of the chair.

Just by way of an update, the noises have stopped now, not heard them for a few months. So jsut the spring settling I assume. As said above though it is quite clunky.
