Hey all, So at the opening I picked up myself a nice Prolimatech Genesis Dual air cooler, sold as OCUK tech labs genesis dual orange led cooler, as the d14 was too large and would not allow me to fit my ram in there. They recommended me this, as it has the silent fans on and apparantly it performs better than the d14. does anyone here have it and have any thoughts?
Thanks!

True. With the Swif 120's, it's only 2°C away, but then that test has the K2 neck and neck or beating the Silver Arrow which seems a little odd to me.

Not doubting you Helios, but y'know :)

Great! I love the look of the cooler anyways, The reason I opted against Noctua was size! I wouldnt have been able to fit my RAM in there, and for an extra 20 pounds, I got a brand new one with some nice orange LED's so Ive got some nice glow in my RV02 window now :P
Thanks, Ill check Helios review. TBH I was looking for more silence than cooling, but if its good at both, win win :)

The Silver Arrow in my charts is the old one :p. I need to add the SBE at some point.

The Genesis is a good cooler. It's one of those coolers that people buy for the looks but it still has the substance to match its style. It may not be quite as good as a proper dual tower cooler but it's not far off.

From what I'vw heard there isn't a lot of difference between SA & SA SB-E... couple of degrees at most but would be real nice to see what it really is.. and that's getting your testing of it Helios. ;)

Just need to find the time for it! My SBE is gathering dust :p. At least I can get some TY-143s now to add to the tests...

D-14 works fine with the older style Ripjaws. The front 120mm fan can be raised higher too.

The difference is likely to be negligible, my D-14 at 700rpm will perform roughly 1-2c worse than it would at 1300rpm.

Well, overall im chuffed with it. It looks so awesome in my case, so much quieter than my old h80 was - although i think there was something wrong with it being that loud.

All I need now is some more orange/white LED's to light up some more of my case, then I wont require a light in the evenings to play my PC :)
