Noctua NH-D14 Need an idea.

Hi guys used my Noctua NH-D14 on several boards but always noticed once its removed you can always see where the spongy stuff that sits between the bracket and board leaves marks on the board after so looking for ideas to stop this was thinking of wax paper but not sure if this will stick or not to the board and make it worse.

is this similar to grease proof paper?
i would say it would work, as its similar to the original covering paper.
i must have a look on mine, but iirc i just left the original covering on my back plate, so its non sticky.

Electrical Tape should do the job mate,backplate was a bugger to get of my old board.

Thanks guys and yes it is a pain to pull the bracket away from the board after its been stuck on there for a while.
Yes i think grease proof paper is about same as wax paper.
