NOD32 2.70.31 problem

I checked out the download page for NOD32 last night and spotted that the latest version was 2.70.31. I checked out my NOD32 install and it was 2.70.16 I believe. So I downloaded the installer and just installed it now. When I look in NOD32 however it says it is 2.70.23. The installer that extracts its contents to C:\ESET has an exe there that says 2.70.23.

Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this? I presume this is Eset making a mistake? I downloaded it again but its still 2.70.23 and not 2.70.31.

Mine is .16 as well, I'll give it a try now.

edit: Same as you - .23 after the upgrade. Looks like a numbering error

Whoa! I got a reply after all. Nothing through on the email. Hmm. Anyway, yeah it looks like a numbering error. I clicked on the 2.70.31 link and it took me to a log page for NOD32, last updated in March 2006. :rolleyes:

.31 is just an update for the trial

the only new thing is a slight change in the defenitions updater
