Noise ?

Ive got a old WD 136GB I decided to reuse from my old HTPC with my gaming build, and it ran happy for some time.

But now ive got a strange issue. Some time ago the HDD would make a click noise at times, but that stopped happening. I just thought oh well, it came it went.

But now there's something else, whenever I run something that stresses my CPU/GPU, it emits a white noise, a high pitched one. Not any crackling or anything. The noise is here without anything being stressed, but it intensifies when I run Prime or run BC2 for example.

Just to make sure it was not my Titan Fenrir Evo fan, I opened up my case, ran prime and listened. I got near the CPU cooler fan and didnt hear anything coming out of it, I heard nothing from the GPU aswell.

I got nearer to the HDD and bingo, white noise being emitted from there.

What's happening then ?

Ive got another Hitachi HDD, should I just use that ?
Also, is there any way of transferring entire windows and everything on this current HDD onto the hitachi one ?

I was thinking it could be capacitors on the GPU but no noise came out of it apart from fans ofc. Also it would be weird for GPU capacitors to start squealing more in a CPU torture test.

Thanks
