Noisy case fan

I have a big 200mm fan on my case side panel which is very loud when I turn the system on and it seems like it catching on something but after a minute or 2 it works as normal.

I have checked and nothing it catching on it and its very secure it is a few years old do you think it's time is up?

Sounds like its just on its way out. Have a look on Overclockers website for the Spectre PROs, I have them and they are great!

Do you have access to the MM? I have a 200mm (possibly 180mm) fan sat around which came out of my Evolv - create a wanted thread?

I used a BitFenix Spectre Pro 230mm that made a catching-on-something noise. Turned out to be the sticker on the hub that was slightly peeled off on one part, and was catching on the case's front mesh.

I had a really noisy fan once but after a few days i called the police and they just removed them from outside my front door! lol

I took the fan out and it's definitely gone.

As I said you need a 230mm fan not 200mm.

Yes you're right it's a 230mm just checked again.
