Hi,

Very new to the higher end of PC as previously just had store bought packages, Dell etc. February i got a Titan Commander" AMD FX-8 8320 @ 4.4GHz Overclocked Nvidia GeForce Eight Core Gaming PC as my old pc was not up to the job and very noisy and overheated a lot of the time
The new PC is great but it is very noisy particularly when you open more windows or videos or games etc. I know its the fans and cooling etc but my question to you all is
Is this normal for a PC like this ?

Any thoughts greatfully received

They can get pretty noisy. What is it making the noise? As in case fans, gpu, cpu?
You can get a fan controller to quieten the case fans, such as a bit fenix recon. For the GPU you can setup a custom fan profile using afterburner.
Keep an eye on temps as well, make sure nothing is getting too hot

I got a fan controller and returned it as there is often software built into your motherboard/BIOS for fan control that is automatic. I much preferred this over the manual control from the fan controller as you have to remember to turn it up when doing something intensive.

Just something to bear in mind, I guess it is personal preference if you would like/use a fan controller or not

The recon has temperature sensors so you don't need to turn it up as when it gets hotter it speeds the fans up accordingly
