Hi all,
I use my HTC Wildfire S to tether on my PC and it's great if a little unreliable (could be the phone not the network?).

So i bought a Nokia Lumia 520 with Windows 8. Nice little phone, if very different to my android phone and to start with i hated it but got little more used to it now.

How do you tether this though exactly?

Do i have to connect to it as a wifi pickup after setting it up as wireless internet?

With my android it was easy - plug it in, switch to tether and off you go....

Hi,

Nokia Lumia 520 tether with up to eight WiFi enabled devices. Go to Settings > Internet Sharing.

Its really brilliant phone with Facebook, Twitter, Xbox, Office and Skype built in. It has plenty of apps to download from Windows Phone Store and a big 4.0" screen, 5MP camera and 8GB storage with expandable memory.

Hope this helps!

Following are the instructions to connect to a WiFi on Nokia Lumia 520.

2.Flick the toggle switch to On to turn on wireless connection. You may see both
secure & unsecured networks
3.Now tap the network they want to connect to.
4.On the next screen, tap the text box and enter your Password.
