Nokia 5610 - 8GB?

Hey there. The Nokia 5610 takes microSD cards, which I have seen go up to as big as 8gb. But in a review and some phone sites I saw, it said "Takes microSD up to 4GB". I assumed this may be because 8gb microSD is new technology...
So will the phone take 8gb or not?

My 5310 manual states a max card size of 4Gb, but the 8Gb i have in it works just fine.
