Nokia 6280 - Any good?

Nowhere in the manual for my phone, or for any recent Nokia phone, has it said to charge the battery for that length of time.
when i friend of mine bought his Razr he charged it until the battery indicator showed full then started to use it.battery life was so unbelievably poor he took it back to the store who promptly asked him if he had followed the instructions and charged it TWICE for 16 hours.
ie charge for 16 hours+use until depleted then charge again for 16 hours+run it until it's flat...after that a simple 60 minutes or so is sufficient.

althought with ref to your Li-ion comment i can't confirm which type of battery the Razr uses.

just my 2 cents.

Hmmm, my flat mate had a RAZR, charged it until the battery indicator showed as full, then used it as per normal for many months after. I am yet to come across any phone with a li-ion battery that requires a very long charge to beging with.... this was only the case with older battery types as they needed to be 'primed' to achieve their full capacity with a number of full charges and discharges.
