Nokia 920 or Note 2

I dont know which to choose.

I just sold my iphone4, looking at the note as I do like news apps.

But this Nokia thing, looks good, but what makes it better than a note2?

Anyone know the best place to get a deal on a cheap contract?

I'm getting the Nokia, bored of Android and iOS want to try something new and fresh.

At the end of the day its personal opinion so go play with both.
 
Lumia 920 IMO.

It has a better camera with OIS, wireless charging, higher res display, WP8 to name a few.
 
Wait until Monday/Tuesday-ish, then you'll be better equipped to decide. Got the same decision to make here, but it's nigh-on impossible until more information about the 920 is available.
 
They really are 2 completely different tbh. Go try the Note II and see how it feels (It is rather big you might not be able to handle it ;) ). The 920 is a really good phone, give the 900 a try and see if you like the software, wait for reviews in the coming week for it as the Note II got amazing reviews, stupidly fast (some say its fastest things out right now), better screen, much better pen input, lighter, and GSM rated the battery life at 70hours+ nothing comes close to that too.
 
Those 2 are exactly my dilemma. Note 2 or Lumia 920. Love the size of the Note 2 (but then I already have a Nexus 7!). I would use the Note 2 and pen so much at work for notes!

But the Nokia is swaying me slightly because of Windows 8!!! :cool:
 
^ I have used buymobilephones a few times and its been great, also get some quidco (Normally £30). Not all sites are good but if you ask in this forum people would usually let you know.
 
Depends whta Eco system you prefer and off course what the price of 920 is.
Other than that you know what the specs are.

I'm going wp8 most likely 920 as I don't want to fiddle about with several Eco systems(like I currently do, all three at the moment) and just makes life easier.
 
Just until today, before I started watching MS show about windows 8 and surface, my mind was in note 2. had several android devices, including nexus and nexus 7 so have invested in android quite a bit.
I was considering surface since it was announced. Now after watching conference, I'm so hooked, that I consider WM 8 phone so whole eco system change...not sure about nokia though...maybe Samsung ativ?

why you would go for nokia instead of samsung ?
my partners lumia 800 was bought for 399 after release - 1 year ago? and now you can have it for 140...

Prefer the styling of Nokia and I want wireless charging.
I like the look of htc even more, but no wireless charging.
And of course you get Nokia music, but with Xbox music, I'm not sure that's needed anymore.
Even considering making my own cover for a tablet to incorporate it, but depends on tablet.

I do like how HTC look like as well and prices of 8s or how is it called - cheaper one.

wireless stations will be at extra cost ?

I have some music on google music..but I can always download and upload again...dont have box, but am planning to get one at some point...so xbox music would be better I think...
 
Xbox music, isn't just xbox. It's part of windows 8.

Yes the charging docks will cost more, pretty pricy as well.
 
Arghh, im so torn. I think the worst part was selling my phone today, its been like 4 hours, i usually lie in bed look at bbc news app and stuff.

To be honest, I dont understand the hype about a charging plate, I mean, what difference does it make from a wire. You still have to have the plate, so in essence is a glorified docking station?

What does interest me is the camera that looks wicked, and maybe this new windows 8.

What I fail to understand is apart from the camera, what makes it a better phone than the note2, its smaller, slower, will have less apps?

I'm not bashing it, just seems a lot of hype and im not sure why!

What do you want to use it for?

I'd get the 920 and a cheap android tablet for bed.
