Well considering I keep posting cakey cakes of goodness I thought I'd start up a general one!

This is one me Ma and Pa did for Sam and I for our Chasing Horizons - Wales Air Ambulance Charity Stall this weekend!

Presenting it to the crew!

More piccies of the making of it here! If you fancy winning some goodies (Ross Noble / Charlie Boorman / Guy Martin stuff) on behalf of charities you can always bumble onto our facebook page and likey it :) (linky) The more likes we have... the more money we get from our sponsors for our charities! Weh hey! :D

Sam and I recently made a cakey for our friend too... we think it was a mega job but perhaps not something we'd do guess the weight of for charity... ;)

Final Cake! ;)

Not as epic as the AT&T cake (because lets face it, that was about as epic as cake gets) but those are still really awesome!

I would offer marriage proposal, but i've been beaten to it :(:p

Ahaha I think it's my Ma you want to offer a marriage proposal to - she's the whizz kid with the cakeys :D

We just do rude cakes ;D

Some of those are amazing! Properly impressive wedding cakes. Does she do this by herself or does she have other employees?

Currently she does everything herself, however she has hired someone to manage the shop (she will still be making the cakes).

There was one occasion where she did a Sunday market type thing and made 3000 cupcakes to sell at the event at 3 Euro each  and sold out in about half the day lol

Impressive.

Say the market opened at 08:00

We'll be generous and take half way through the day to be 13:00

So that's five hours.

3000 cakes sold in five hours. That's ten cakes a minute, or one every six seconds.

She should be on The Apprentice, she could teach 'em a thing or two about selling.

Cracking looking cakes, Pheebs. I agree with realBabelFish when he says you should do cakes in the Trumpton/Camberwick Green style, I think that would be fantastic.
