Non-competitive gaming

Son, you got no game. :D

Know what you mean though, there's always someone out there better than you and after having your behind handed to you time after time (BF4 sniper rage) it's nice to have a change of pace and do some co-op or something completely different.

I'd say 8/10 games I play are non-competitive. I'd much rather sit down and enjoy a good story game or play something tactical that needs a lot of thought. That's not to say I don't enjoy competitive now and again, such as Battlefield 4 which I really like.

I get fed up of the idiots in MP I am having a big break from World of Tanks.

Thats what the Steam Library is for so you can catch up on all the steam sale games you bought!

i play a lot of games, some competitive some not.

games like tomb raider and stronghold 3 are games you can just sit down on your own and chill out without getting frustrated by snipers and quick scoping etc :)

a good RTS is what i do to chill out or a RPG :)

Lol I think World of Tanks has the worse team mates I have come across in any multilayer game I'm glad I quit that game.

I gave up on PvP FPS games, as I found I was getting really bad anger lol. I was quite good, but if I went to another game for a few weeks and came back, it would take a while to get used to it again. BF4 for example is not a game you can just casually pick up and enjoy IMO, unless you play a lot of fast paced online FPS. You have to play it a lot to keep your skills sharp otherwise I just find myself getting trolled.

I'm much happier playing ME3 MP or Skyrim :)

I almost never play anything competitive. The closest I've come to competition is RuneScape - and I've only ventured into the Wilderness a few times in that.

Having said that, if my busy schedule allows I will make time to at least try Elder Scrolls Online. I've been mad on the series since Daggerfall. :)

I have never enjoyed a non competitive game as much as I have one with multi player. I have just bought Civilization 5 though, hoping this will change my views as after 15 years of multiplayer gaming online the rage has started to hit!

I haven't played any competitive games since the original unreal tournament, it made me realise I wasn't very good and didn't have the time to devote to improving. I play to relax and enjoy the story.

Think the last competitive game i really enjoyed was battlefield 2 lol.
I still dabble in the newer FPS games but not very much, i just cant react fast enough anymore.
I much prefer co-op or single player games so i can just suck in private or get carried a little :D

I never thought I'd like competitive gaming, but when I worked on getting the PS3 platinum trophy in Crysis 2, I had to get level 50 in multiplayer - and I realised that the only reason I didn't like competitive gaming was because it usually took some practice/effort before you could call yourself 'good' (compared to single player where you're competent to excellent right off the bat).

So now I'll give even competitive games a fair shot, to work out if I like them or not.
