I'm looking for a new PCI-Express graphics card for watching dvds,tv, .avi, a bit of photo editing etc on a widescreen 20" monitor with dvi connection.

I have absolutely no idea what specification of card would give an excellent picture as they are all aimed at gamers and I don't want spend loads of money on a card with features which are not necessary for my needs.

The less money the better! - budget about £100 - but image quality is paramount.

thanks

Personally preferred the Nvidia tv-out picture quality and control panel layout.

If u not going to be playing high end games then this should do

Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS SILENT - £62 excl

or if u going to be tempted to play some games

OcUK GeForce 7900 GS 256MB GDDR3 - £99 excl
