Non-gaming Mini-ITX "power house"

The kozuti is a very very low cooler (40mm), I have one, its perfect for small builds while still being effective. And do you need 9TB right away? You could wait and buy some disks later when the costs go down as production starts again

Will the Shuriken fit on a FM1 socket? it doesnt seem to be listed as an option?

what operating system? Before I went ahead and bought the Synology ds411 I was going to use linux software raid which is better than those controllers... but if you gonna run windows then, sure...

yeah looking windows 7 i would have 3 drives to start off with in raid 5 then add more as they get full, my brother thinks i would not be able too thou.

That's not true of Linux software RAID which is very mature and highly configurable using mdadm but does of course rely on the system being quick

I just purchased a ds411 synology love it so far

If you to buy a raid card hammy I wouldn't get that lian... As a raid controller brand they are unknown (read reviews at least)

Look at supermicro.co.uk they have some good value cards with good features
