Hi im doing my 1st build in the next month and have a quick question?

Do cables come with components e.g. hardrives GPU's etc or will i have to buy them all sepreatly?

Im getting the Corsair AX1200 but will this include all the power cables and connections i need?

Thanks

The SATA cables come with the board.

PSU have the power cables.

Absolutely, dont even need to know the spec for that to be a yes.

As above, the motherboard and PSU come with pretty much all the cables you need.

However, if your case is one where the PSU sits in the bottom of the case, then I would strongly suggest purchasing an ATX_12V extension cable like this. It just makes building and maintaining your system so much easier.

Thanks guys!

Its a Corsair 650d case i hope to be using so would i need cable extenders or anything like that?

So i should enough power and SATA cables to run a SSD and 2 HDD?

That case does have the PSU at the bottom, though it does have some pretty extensive cable routing round the back of the motherboard tray - so the ATX power extension cable may not be necessary.

Almost all retail motherboard packages come with at least 2 SATA data cables. So you should be fine on that front. If you tell us the name of the motherboard then we can confirm.

As for the AX1200 PSU, that has up to 16 available SATA power connection available to connect into the PSU (AFAIK in four modular cables each with four SATA power connections on it).

Its a ASUS P9X709 Pro, im getting the Krypton X79 810i bundle from the site.

I want everything to arrive and put it together straight away instead of having pick up bits im missing if ya know what i mean:)
