I've made the jump and so far I'm really glad I did. I now have an iPhone 4S and it's my first iPhone ever :)

1. I recorded some video on it - can I watch it back on my laptop?
2. Same for photos - I can't see them in iTunes but they're on the device
3. Sometimes the phone feels warm while playing games etc. Is this OK?
4. Can someone suggest how I can get DVDs onto it.

That is all :)

It is normal for the phone to warm up a bit.

Plug it into your computer via USB and it will mount itself as a camera, video and photo files are all in there, just copy them to your computer.

Use a program such as handbrake to convert video files to suitable Apple formats, and then transfer them to the phone using iTunes. You have to set them up to sync.

Thanks Robbo. I figured the first part out last night when a bright spark of inspiration urged me to browse the device in Exporer :)

My first genuine dissapointment has been watching the video back, I recorded a play so it wasn't exactly daylight. Playback looks amazing on the phone but rubbish on my laptop!

Thanks for the DVD tips too.

Still one of the best gadgets I've ever owned :)
