OK due to a Blue Screen/Instability problem it looks like i will have to update the sound drivers on my computer. But to do this i will need the latest Bios revision. Having never had to update a bios before and there being several updates available, do i need to install each in the order they were released? Or do i just install the newest and will this have all of the previous updates as well? Board is a GA-Z77-D3H by the way.

Thnx

Latest version, I'd be tempted to disconnect anything usb that's not a kb or mouse as I've had problems before with that.

As above - latest includes all previous fixes (as in effect a BIOS flash replaces all information, you can't add to it).

Not sure what method others use, but preferred method for me is to stick the BIOS file on a USB Stick, then go into the BIOS and use the built in updater.

Yes, use the flashing tool (Q-Flash) that is in the tools section of the bios. Just download the latest bios and put it on a usb stick. Reboot, enter the bios and start Q-Flash and follow the instructions. Do not use any windows based bios flashing software.

Thnx All, done now and upgraded to the F23 bios, was a heart attack moment when trying to reboot to windows afterwards and getting constant blue screens. After a snoop in the bios i found that the onboard graphics had been switched back on which i believe (hope) was causing a conflict with the installed card and causing this? Seems to boot fine since the onboard was disabled. Now to see if this has cured the crashing problem in games..
