noob question, sorry

Hi,
I currently have the Geil 6400 ddr2 2gb kit installed on my EVGA 680 MB, is it ok if i put in the OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz RAM to boost up my memory or are there going to be compatibility issues? I need more ram as i am going to be running some VM software. Thanks.

32bit or 64??

32 bit will see roughly 3 gig of memory
64 bit will see it all

I have a dual boot system
vista 64
XP 32

i thought 32bit would be higher, hmmmm

There'll probably be compatibility issues.

But you may as well buy the 4gb kit and see.
