Currently have 1xSeagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache, installed on my machine. Have been having issue with Windows 7 and the "Windows explorer crashing" issue. Looks like I am going to have to do a full reinstall, which is going to be a pain as I only have the one partition.

I have ordered and Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache and will format it to have a couple of partitions enabling me to put my musi, videos, games etc.... onto different drives. However looking at my motherboard I only have 2x SATA2 slots. 1x for my current hard drive and 1x for my DVD drive. How do I go about connecting up my new hard drive to my system ?

My DVD drive has only got a SATA2 slot on the rear and no IDE slot, so if I were to unplug that to plug in my new Hard drive I would in effect have no DVD drive.

Am probably overlooking something obvious hwere so I apologise in advance.

Thanks
Andy
