Hello People this maybe a stupid question?

Will installing a antivirus like (AVG) on a SSD have negative effect on the drive. Will it slow it down or/does it write a lot.

I've a M4 128GB drive and I must say its fast, so really wanna keep that up.

Nah, just means it'll scan faster

Dont worry about it, you need AV on your PC and whatever drive you put it on its still gonna scan the SSD. Log writes are pretty minimal compared to other stuff you've got running.
