Noob question

OK so I have a gigabyte GTX670 2gb card and want to go sli, my question is does the other card need to be a gigabyte card or can it be another make. I was just wondering because of the different clock speeds cards have.

You can SLi any other 6 series, but for dual card gaming, without the dedicated PhysX, a 670 would be suitable
