Noob questiosn on crysis

How do you check you health on crysis 2? I only see what my help is when I have blood splattered on my face and it says health critical or somert. also I'm on dx9, so how do I put it on dx11 or something? Is there a way of changing the settings from gamer to advanced and hardcore to something else by tweaking it?

sorry I've never played that many fps apart from star trek voyager elite force/ef 2 and usually play STO and bridge commander mods and a bit of darkorbit.

You don't have a health bar in crysis 2, its the same idea as call of duty.

As for the DX 9, I don't think crysis has a DX11 patch released, dunno how to swap it over to DX10 unfortuantly however Im sure someone else will.

I think he's on about Crysis 2 running DX9.
You have to D/L the DX11 patch.

Yeah you'll have to download the DX11 patch, it came a few months after the game was released. You may as well download the high resolution texture pack at the same time, see the links below. Although perhaps have a wee read about how DX11 was implemented in Crysis 2, I for one choose to leave it off..

And as for your health, as mentioned above, you don't have a health bar, instead you have "regenerating health". Welcome to today's FPS
