I never really got into iPod's since I had a cheapo 1Gb MP3 player that did the job. Now that I need more space I've taken my gf's spare 4Gb iPod nano. I'm finding it difficult to use iTunes and add music.

Is there a way I can just drag and drop music into my iPod by using Windows Explorer?

Thank you :)

Get used to itunes, I don't understand why people wouldn't want to use it, it's a great bit of software.

You can drag and drop through itunes, doesn't have to be synced all the time.

Seconded, iTunes looks a nightmare when you first start but it's really easy to use when you get the hang of it.

Just make sure you check "manually manage music" in itunes. Then simply drag tracks from your itunes library.

So that then lets you just pick no playlists, artist etc? And you can find the tracks in iTunes libary and drag it on top of device or?
