I've installed Win 11 in all kinds of old hardware. You just need to mKe a usb stick as you can't use the upgrade
assistant. You can then either boot from USB for fresh install and do the reg key trick during install, or set a reg key in windows and run the setup from the USB.

Can you do this easily to upgrade from Windows 10? I’m a little unsure as there is so much conflicting advice out there!!

Just use Rufus to make a W11 USB installer, it is very simplistic yet does everything that you need
When using Rufis, once you goto click 'start', a new menu will pop up, giving you various options, one of them is to remove the requirement for TPM
You can also remove the requirement for an online Microsoft account

Yeah, I did it on my Dad's laptop. Just create installation media or extract the ISO to C: and go in sources folder and run setupprep.exe /product server
Awesome, thank you. That sounds like an easy fix, rather than some of the stuff I’ve seen elsewhere!!
