just read through your Beginners Guide to Overclocking and it was very helpfull but i cant seem 2 get my amd sempron2800 over 1.8ghz and wen i do i dont feel eny differance between normal and overclocked .my bios only lets me clck it to a 15% and i cant unlock the mulitplier on it . help me please and also i was looking at a AMD Athlon64 3000+2ghz i was wondering how much would i be able to get out of that and keep it stable

run a few benchmarks i.e futuremark and compare the scores

You need to say what motherboard you're using. The automatic overclock features in some motherboards aren't going to give good results, you need to use the manual settings to get the best results.
