nook simple touch problem

hi all.

bought a nook simple touch today as did most people on hotukdeals.

having serious problems with half the text being very feint or unreadable some of it is clear as day. Next page can be 100% readable its hit or miss.

does it get better with use or have I got a duff one?

I got one today aswell but don't have that issue, it does look like a fault.

It's stopped doing it now, maybe had a bit of a jiggle somewhere.

Working fine, got myself and the girlfriend one from John Lewis.

How you getting on with yours?
