Noooooooo Isaac Hayes quits South Park

See this is why we hate Scientologists. This will obviously set them up for more of a ripping though. Who knows what they'll do with the chef character now, but I bet they won't drop him.

they turning him into a peodophile  , thats just wrong. he worked for them for years and this is the thanks he gets!!
You do realise that it's the character they are to be portraying as a paedophile, not Isaac Hayes himself. There's a subtle distinction there - One of them being a cartoon, the other being a real person.

Or maybe in real life they are actually going to wave their Create-A-Paedo wand. Who knows - stranger things have happened.

Meh, I think he'd appreciate the joke - I have a feeling it was his church that coerced him into quitting, as he seemed cool about the episode from that interview someone linked to earlier. With the amount of entertainers who are scientologists I wouldn't be surprised if they were running some kind of freemason-style network, and Hayes probably got a "You'll never work in this town again!" if he didn't denounce Stone and Parker-type ultimatum.
/Tweek-style paranoia

i still thinks its disrespectful to him

That's where we would disagree then - If they were to make an Isaac Hayes character and imply he was a paedophile, that would show a lack of respect (and would probably be actionable).

However, unless IH is pulling a Hawaii-Five-O (where the actor ended up believing that he actually was the character), I fail to see how he could be upset on those grounds.

I don't think they're disrespecting him at all, they're attacking the scientoligists. They obviously believe the scientoligists "brainwashed" him.

Anyways pretty funny episode, gotta love Butters tho.
