Normal Temperature?

Today I finally built my new comp & were wondering if my temps are somewhat ok, despite this being far from my 1st time building a comp (I've built a fair few, this is the 4th for myself, I've built a few for others aswell) anyway this is the 1st time I've bought a 3rd party heatsink & had to apply thermal paste myself, I've had a quick look around but not found anything definitive but I could have easily missed it, being 4:15Am I'm tired...

Anyway Spec is so...

Antec 900 case
Abit IP-35 Pro
Intel C2Q Q6600 G0 @ 2.4Ghz (At the mo)
2GB DDR800 RAM (4-4-4-12)
Leadtek 8800GT
Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme (With fan attached)

Anyway I've currently got all 4 cores stressed out, CoreTemp reads

TJunction 100C (I believe this to be a max number as it is non changing?)
The rest are all around 51-53C that is under each core at 100%, Abit uGuru reads CPU 39C at the mo, When idle the CPU is about 24C according to that (But I don't know how accurate it is) Is there another reliable way to get temps?

The main question being however is, the same as the title. Is my temps somewhat ok? I want to overclock to atleast 3Ghz so I would appreciate abit of direction with how my temps stand at the mo.

Thanks for any help that can be given.

temps are fine, great infact for a quad.

However I'd use core temp (word is a link to the download) as the temp monitors that come with mobo's are generally regarded as inaccurate.

For over clocking, don't go about 70 degrees load and you should be fine :) clock away!

Also, why am I awake still?

Thanks, Puts mind at rest!

Still trying to digest last nights joke of a football game I know I am

Even after some sleep I'm wondering what the heck happened... What a dissapointment! :(

Indeed he is, abit stubborn though refusing to resign... Still lots of lost revenue with not being in the competition but as said another thread.

Anyway update, at the mo I've overclocked it a little (risen the FSB from 266Mhz to 300Mhz * 9 = 2.7Ghz) I wanted to take it smallish increments since it's my 1st time & well that is the best way anyway I'd say. I'm just wondering why Core Temp keeps crashing? I have OCCT & Orthos running up all 4 cores to the max, everest, Abit uGuru & CoreTemp monitoring temps, but for some reason CoreTemp keeps crashing on me, the other programs haven't (yet) just coretemp the temp reading currently (from all programs) are

CPU: 37C
Core #1: 50
Core #2: 47
Core #3: 47
Core #4: 50

Motherboard reads as 30C. PWM is 53C is that something I should be concerned about??
