Cool, thanks.

Anyone going up to it? I was going to drive up tonight but something has come up. Thursday is forecast heavy rain all day so I might give that a miss too but I'll definitely be up on race day.

I was driving through Newry on the bike earlier on and ran into loads of massive bike convoys who looked to be heading up north from Dublin. There were bloody hundreds of them!

colleague drove up from coleraine to ballymena this afternoon and thinks he must have passed the whole of the psni motorbike force heading up to the north coast......

I was hoping to go to it this year, totally forgot it was on this weekend; I'm away to Manchester.

My sister lives in Coleraine and I went last year. Was definitely worth going. Sadly can't make it this year. Hopefully there won't be any deaths this year. I'd hope for no injuries, but that's just not going to happen.

Excellent, thanks for the link!

Just a quick question, it appears the BBC are only showing the actual practice and racing on the web, not even the red button. Anyone know of any TV coverage?

I'm guessing they'll do a highlights package or something, but there certainly doesn't seem to be anything live apart from online :(.

yup what they said and
Motorsport: NW 200 Highlights

Highlights from the North West 200. The NW200, a series of races which take place between Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine, is one of Northern Ireland's premier sporting events.

BBC Two, broadcast on 25 May 2008

Ah wondered why there was lots of bikes all loaded up today :p must be going there lol!

Cant wait will be watching on tv though lol.

Just got back around 10

Excellent practice session, although its bloody hard to keep track of everything without a programme, not worth £18 quid though.

Im going to get a small portable radio for saturday, should make things a bit easier. Prey the weather holds up.

If you have Sky BBC NI is on channel 973 iirc, watched the Cookstown races on there last monday...i think they show it over two nights?.
:)
