Hi,

Ive recently upgraded my system from :

AMD64 4000+
MSI Neo2 Mobo
2GB Geil Ram

To:

Intel Conroe E6700
MSI Powerup Edtion
2GB G-skill Ram

Ever since the change my firewall seems to stop webpages from opening, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I am on my pc atm doing this post so as you can see its fine but there are other times when it doesnt load them and as soon as i turn of my firewall they work. Very weird if you ask me as its not like the firewall is totally blocking websites as they work now and again and only started doing this when i went to conroe.

Any idea?
Thanks for any help

tempted to join in the norton bashing, all sorts of probs with office 2007

With a software called Norton, you have defeated the point of buying Intel Conroe E6700!

With Norton being system resource hog, it will bring your new system down to the performance level of Celeron PC!

Rid of it, no matter how much you like it!

Already tried that with no change. Im beginning to think its a problem with firefox maybe as if you read the other thread about it. going to try an older version now.

Disable the firewall and see if that makes a difference. If it does it's the firewall. If not then it may well be that you are one of the people now suffering random firefox problems.
