I'm trying out Norton Ghost, I thought you could create a ghost image to a DVD-RW self bootable disc? If I save a restore point to the hard drive, and my OS gets knackered how would I restore it? Also wouldn't it need to be on a FAT32 partition?

Nope. you can save image to any hard drive (apart from OS one obviously!) boot up the norton ghost CD and it'll see it just fine. NTFS dont stop ghost, not even ntfs permissions! (which comes in handy!)

:) lovely bit of software. recently upgraded to 12 here for vista x64 support. best bit of software i've used in a long time :)

Stuck here. I've created a point on another HD, but how do you create a self-booting recover CD? I've just got the install file.
