So who are your best players?

just wondering who to look out for this season...

I know a bit about QPR already just not sure on Swansea and Norwich

Grant Holt is our main goalscorer, but I fear he might not have the fitness required by the prem...

Swansea are full of quality individuals, I'd say Sinclair is there best player easily.

Norwich, not sure, Bradley Johnson probably :D

Norwich last season were a team that played as way, way more than the sum of our parts. A lot of our results were ground out from just putting in 100% for the whole 90mins and killing teams when they lost concentration in the last 10mins. Without the points gained in the last 10 mins of games I don't think we would've even been in the playoffs.

Indeed, 13 90th minute winners or something wasn't there? Mad.

We gained 18 points last season from goals in the last 10 mins of a match. We would've been out of the playoffs without those. A significant number came during the 90th min or later.

Sinclair aside, Dobbie or Dyer are probably Swansea's best players. Danny Graham has come in, but he hasn't played a competetive game for us yet.

Will be interesting what role Dobbie has this season, he seems like a luxury player, great technical skills but the team have to fit around him. A bit like Hoolahan at Norwich.

He plays in the hole behind the single striker and he got better as the season went on and also put in a lot of work. You see his goal and assist in the play off final? Cracking technical ability.

Yeah, I saw him quite a lot, quite surprised how much he improved. Again not sure if relegation contenders can afford to play a player in that role, if anything they'll be packing defensive midfielders. Who knows :)

We would struggle a lot more by packing in defensive midfielders, we tried playing defensive away from home and it didn't work. We need the outlet, plus we do play with 1 striker so we still have the 2 defensive midfielders.
a lot of people seem to have written us off and have Norwich to stay up, I don't know if this is more due to history, or size of club though.

Swansea play nice football, also very good defensively.. Norwich are about hustle and 110% work rate.

Blackpool tried playing football last season and got relegated.

All means nowt really, Prem different ball game to the Championship, probably more about mental ability over technical too.

I remember watching Norwich vs Wigan back in 2004 when they went up as champions and Wigan were pushing for promotion and just missed out on play offs at the end of the season, they got beat 2-0 was a hot spring day, next year Wigan went up and Norwich went down and Wigan have been in EPL ever since

I miss the Championship, its been great in the EPL but its not football as I like it, Saturday 3pm every weekend, the small crowds, no tv crap, refs giving the top 4 everything.

Mate is going to Swansea, hope its a cracking game and Martinez doesn't get booed, he built that team and went back to the club that brought him to England.

:D How many do you think you'll bring down? Home end is sold out, but that's only 2000 general sale.

Martinez will definitely get booed, people appreciate what he accomplished here, but it's what he said at the time and then going completely against everything he said.
